Rob builds technology companies. He's a seasoned leader with executive experience with a proven track record. He also founded and cohosts numerous podcasts (more than 350 episodes!), including the BetaKit podcast and Entrepreneurs in Small Rooms Drinking Coffee. Rob is passionate about creating - and is deeply embedded in - the innovation ecosystem.

Rob has run funded and bootstrapped startups for over a decade such as Endloop, Pigsback, and Impressed. Most recently, he was on the executive team at TWG, helping grow and lead TWG to its acquisition by Deloitte, their second largest tech acquisition in Canada. He has also led significant enterprise new product development initiatives and lines of business at organizations such as AT&T Bell Labs, Bell Canada, Bell New Ventures, and the Ontario Telemedicine Network.

He has mentored and advised dozens of startups individually and via programs such as Lab2Market, the Center for Women in Business' Mentor Bootcamp, CFC IDEABOOST, Techstars, Startup Next, Acceleprise / Forum Ventures, and many more. He is all about bringing innovative, customer-focused products and services to market. A writer and podcaster, Rob has also spoken at numerous events, including Global Blockchain Week, FITC, and Hotdocs. Rob is also known for putting the pun back into techno-punditry.
